Roustom’s illustrative and design work reflect the way memory simplifies lines and heightens contrast, while her writing uses memoir, interview, and history to access cultural consciousness. Mixing crow quill drawing and gouache painting with digital tools, she creates pieces which bridge a tactile past with a virtual present. Roustom lives in southeastern Massachusetts and can be found brewing coffee and reading about the history of popular music.
